Cape Tribulation accommodation
Heritage Lodge is located at the base of majestic Thornton Peak and consists of 16 acres of pristine Rainforest.
It adjoins Cooper Creek with almost 1 kilometre of crystal clear swimming holes which can be accessed by guests.

Cape Tribulation accommodation The rear border is the Daintree Cape Tribulation National Park. The Cooper Creek section of the Daintree Rainforest is widely regarded as some of the most important, complex and abundant rainforest in the wet tropics.
Many rare & endangered species of both flora & fauna can be found on the property.
We are three kilometres from Thornton Beach, one of regions most beautiful beaches. Other, even more private beaches can be found with directions from the hosts.

Observe a wide variety of waterfowl and protected birds in their natural environment.
Pukeko, banded dotterel, welcome swallow, scaup, white-faced heron, black-fronted tern, southern crested grebe, and many more.
A vehicle is available to pick you up from your accommodation

Beachcomber Tours- This adventure starts at your accommodation anywhere from Coolum to Noosa. Then by ferry across the Noosa river to the Noosa north shore. Travelling on the gravel road to the beach and the Pacific Ocean. Here our sandy adventure really begins. Whilst driving on the actual beach we will see and visit the renowned TEEWAH coloured sands with features such as the Cathedrals, Snow on the Mountains and the Red Canyon. On our journey we pass over many small streams with the largest Freshwater Creek.
Sands of Time tour- We take a bush walk through the Lake Cooroibah holiday park, where native and exotic birds plus wallabies and kangaroos may be seen. Morning tea is served here. For the adventurous an optional camel ride is available. After the beach travel as per the Beach Comber Tour, once we have crossed the Leisha track our journey continues along the Wide Bay beach past towering coloured sand cliffs to Rainbow Beach township. Here we have lunch overlooking Wide Bay and Fraser Island. Plenty of time here for a walk through town or a swim. We now drive to Double Island Point as per the shorter tour after which we head inland to visit Freshwater Lake set in towering eucalyptus forest, here we have another opportunity to see and hear many native birds and also see a variety of wildflowers in season.

Denmark Bike Adventures offer a choice of routes of varying difficulty. The Wine Ride takes you for 21 kilometres along the Scotsdale Tourist Drive. It provides visitors with views of towering Karri trees and lush forests with an array of wildflowers and bird life. There is something special in viewing Denmark from the air and a variety of 'highflying' tours and opportunities leave from Denmark Airport. Hang Gliding is a popular pastime from the spectacular cliffs at Shelley Beach located to the southeast in Denmark West Cape Howe National Park.

We specialise in scenic wildlife cruises and guided walks on Motuara Island bird sanctuary, where you'll be amazed at the abundant and vocal native bird life. Make a day of it, if you choose, and explore historic Ship Cove before walking a portion of the beautiful Queen Charlotte Track during the afternoon. Total track walks with free pack transfers are also available. Those looking for a real thrill can swim with the dolphins.
