Follow the Captain Cook highway to the Cape Tribulation turnoff
Take the Daintree River Ferry North and turn left at Turpentine Road (approximately 15kms North of the Ferry Crossing.

The Daintree Ferry accepts cash only. A return ticket of $21 will need to be purchased.

DAINTREE RAINFOREST - Welcome to the Living Museum

The Daintree Cape Tribulation section of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area contains the most ancient rainforest on earth - showcasing an evolution of flora & fauna from the very beginning of time.

More then just a paradise; this is the only place in the world where two world Heritage Listed parks - the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef join.

Over 135 million years old this tropical rainforest is home to animals who have evolved very little since time itself began, such as the musky rat kangaroo and the Southern Cassowary. From untouched beaches to rainforest clad mountains, there is much to discover in this kingdom of plants and animals.

Follow in the footsteps of Sir David Attenborough who stayed here at the Heritage Lodge Resort while filming "The Life of a Plant.
