"We loved the cabin it was so inviting surrounded by the forrest and lovely gardens. The presentation of the restaurant food was second to none, so beautiful and fresh. If you are looking for time out from your busy life and want to breathe some fresh air surrounded by lush green vegetation while listening to beautiful birds well this is the place to be. We will be back and definitely recommend Heritage Lodge."

"Situated near Cape Tribulation the lodges are in the middle of the rainforest itself. The lodges are simple with a large room and en-suite. They are very comfortable and the main building is only a short stroll away. The restaurant overlooks Coopers Creek and is a great place for breakfast and dinner with excellent food. A good base for exploring the local area."

"Wonderful lodge in the rainforest. Swimming in the creek and swimming holes! Beautiful cabins. You really are disconnected, in the middle of the rainforest, without internet, tv or telephone! The manager is a very nice lady, very helpful. Choice of DVD’s and board games you can watch and play in your cabin!"

"Not a sound but the rainforest whispers. This lodge was very enjoyable and all the staff so hospitable. Our group enjoyed the happy hour and a delicious dinner overlooking the waterhole. Our cabin was well serviced, clean and comfortable with a comfy bed. We even spotted an elusive cassowary!!!"

"The best part of the Heritage Lodge was the fresh water creek and swimming holes, where our kids spent hours swimming with the turtles and fish and playing in the rocks. The cabins were basic but comfortable and are literally surrounded by rainforest with all the creatures that belong there. The staff were super helpful and friendly."

"This is wonderful place to stay. The location is very special. Cabins are spread around the property and give the feeling of living right in among the rainforest. Everything was immaculately clean and well presented. The bed was very comfortable. This was the sixth time my partner and I have stayed at the Heritage Lodge. Highly recommended."

"We spent about 3 days here and loved being right in the rainforest. My partner Dan and I had a lovely time exploring the property, and even went for a hike down the riverbed! The owner Vicki and her staff are outstanding (what great hospitality!) and even though it was extremely hot (we visited in December) there were still plenty of things to do in the area. We would love to be back!!"
